Pelican Cottages ... OCEANFRONT at MP12 ... a secret worth
sharing!
The Pelican Cottages were originally built
by Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Culpepper in the 1950s. Entering the growing
Nags Head tourist business, they constructed a residence and two
rental cottages. In 1989, Brant and Bobbie Murray purchased the
cottages from Mrs. Culpepper. Ten years later, Barry and Emily
Bourne became partners with the Murrays. The cottages are clean,
comfortable, and affordable offering a slice of 1950’s Nags Head
with today’s modern conveniences. |
